(KSL News) -- The man accused of abducting a Mapleton boy earlier this month, faces new charges tonight.

Robert Allen Kartchner is also accused of trying to pick up two boys in Provo in June, 2002 and March of 2003.

He now faces first-degree felony child kidnapping and attempted kidnapping charges, on top of felony kidnapping and child abuse counts from the Mapleton incident.
