(KSL News) -- A field fire this afternoon threatened a Sandy home for a while.
The blaze started in a gulley off 10600 S. Dimple Dell Rd.
Fire crews say the foliage in the gulley was really dry, allowing the blaze to spread quickly.
It did threaten a home for a while, before crews got things under control.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries after a branch fell on him.
He was treated and released at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
