(KSL News) A late night fire put a West Valley City family's escape plan to the test, with good results.
The fire broke out in the basement of 4348 S. Falcon Street, sometime around 11:00 Saturday night.
The family got out of the home, and met at their designated meeting place. They then realized one of the kids was missing.
They went back in and were able to wake her up and get everyone out safely.
The blaze caused about $90,000 damage to the home. The cause is under investigation.
