(KSL News) Governor's Grove got a few new additions today, thanks to some local Boy Scouts.

These scouts, sponsored by St. Ambrose Catholic Church, planted five Utah Pinon Pine trees in the grove.

The troop is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and planted the trees in order to create a visual marker to commemmorate their half century of scouting.

The troop's scoutmaster says it was also a good opportunity to teach the boys about preserving the environment and giving back to the community.
