SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Smoggy air is expected along parts of the Wasatch Front on Friday.
The Division of Air Quality has issued a "yellow alert" for Salt Lake, Davis and Utah counties. That means health departments are asking residents not to burn wood, although it is not prohibited.
Residents are also asked to drive as little as possible on "yellow" days because cars contribute significantly to the area's air pollution.
