(Springville-AP) -- About 150-people are back on the lines today fighting a fire in Cherry Creek near Springville.

U-S Forest Service officials say the fire has scorched 15-hundred 30-acres since Saturday.

The fire is about 15 percent contained, but officials say that winds could work against firefighters today. There's no word on when the fire will be contained.

The nearest home is about between a mile and a half to two miles away, but no homes are threatened. Investigators have found the spot where the fire has originated, but still aren't saying how the fire started.

Meanwhile, another fire burning in Shepard Canyon is 100 percent contained, but it is still not under control. One crew and one chopper is working to keep that one contained.
