(KSL News) -- South Jordan police are trying to determine the relationship between a stabbing suspect, his victim, and the suspect's wife.
Benjamin Gilstrap was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a man several times yesterday afternoon.

The stabbing happened after Gilstrap apparently came home to find the victim inside his house with Gilstrap's wife. Police say Stephanie Gilstrap and the victim, Calvin Zettlen, were just talking so they're trying to determine what motivated the man to pull a knife.
Chief Dan Pearson, South Jordan Police Dept.: "It appears like the husband felt like there was something more than just a friendship going on. And we're trying to establish if there's a basis for that. Just trying to get a clear understanding for what his thought process would have been and why he became so angry."
Police have determined both of the couple's children, ages eleven and eight, witnessed the stabbing.
