(KSL News) Friends and family gathered Saturday to say goodbye to a man who brought joy to Utah children for years.
Funeral services were held for Bernie Calderwood-- known here at KSL as "Admiral Bernie" for many years.
He also hosted the Big Money Movie.
Calderwood also played a role in the further development of the artificial heart. At age 79, he was the oldest survivor on the L-Vadd heart-assist device.
Carlderwood died this past week.
