(Salt Lake City-AP) -- She drove the getaway car for a 16-year old who fired shots into a crowd of people outside Murray's Fun Dome. Now she'll serve a year in jail.
"Joy" Bisa Edda Bouaphaphanh was sentenced to one year in jail Friday.
The 19-year old says she had no idea David Van would fire shots into the crowd.
But prosecutors say she knew she was associating with gang members.
Bouaphaphanh could have faced up to 30-years in prison for felony charges but was cut a deal because she cooperated with police in their case against the shooter.
Six people were injured in the March shooting. Van pleaded guilty to attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges last month. He'll be sentenced in December.
