(KSL News) -- Tenants at a Kaysville apartment complex are back at home this evening after a brief evacuation this morning.

Police were called to 300 West 300 North in Kaysville after neighbors heard several shots being fired. SWAT teams arrived, set up a perimeter, and evacuated about ten people.
The shooter was spotted leaving the complex, confronted, and arrested. Police say he was firing his rifle from his balcony at a tree, and that he may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No one was hurt.
