(Honeyville-AP) -- Charges could be filed after a shooting sends a teenager to the hospital.
It was a close call for a 16-year old girl. Box Elder County sheriff's deputies say the girl was shot in the arm by a shotgun last Friday.
Deputies say two 17-year old boys were in the room with the girl when one of them pulled a shotgun from a gun cabinet, and pointed it at her.
The gun went off, shooting the girl in the arm from about 10 feet away.
Deputies say the shooting looks accidental but they've submitted a report to the county attorney who will decide if charges will be filed.
