(KSL News) -- Summit County Sheriff's Deputies have shut down a marijuana operation in Jeremy Ranch.

Officers searched the home at 8690 N. Silver Spur Drive on a tip that marijuana was being grown inside.

Sheriff Dave Edmunds, Summit County Sheriff's Dept.: "We recovered over 85 plants, but the operation was certainly large enough to accommodate probably closer to 200 to 250 plants, and that's where it was headed before we took it down today."

26-year old Tyler Cooper, who was renting the home, is charged with second-degree felony cultivation of marijuana.

Stephanie Greenhalgh, Neighbor: "I saw a whole bunch of SWAT guys jump out and I saw them storm in an yell 'This is the police' and kick in the front door. And I thought it was just an absolute hoax. I thought that nothing like that could absolutely have happened in this neighborhood because nothing ever has."

Sheriff Edmunds says more arrests are possible.
