(KSL News) -- The Provo man who snatched some religious clothing from the hands of a street preacher at last month's general conference has been sentenced to six months probation.
Jose Basilio pleaded no contest yesterday to an amended charge of disturbing the peace. The judge plans to hold the plea in abeyance for six months.
It will then be dismissed if Basilio completes 10 hours of community service and breaks no other laws.
The judge also ordered him to write a letter of apology to the victim.
