(Syracuse-AP) -- The Christmas spirit lives on in Syracuse.
A Grinch stole a family's eight-foot, self-inflating Grinch off their porch earlier this week. But an anonymous donor has replaced it.
A Syracuse police detective delivered the new Grinch to the family yesterday. The Grinch was delivered to the Syracuse police station by a resident who wanted to remain anonymous.
The missing Grinch has yet to be found along with an inflatable snowman that was stolen from a nearby resident.
But the family says this heartfelt gesture has made their Christmas.
