SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Intermountain Healthcare is one of the top integrated health systems in the country. That's according to a study by Verispan, a health information company.

The study ranked IHC number two on the list. Health care facilities are ranked on factors such as clinical quality, operations, efficiency and variety of services offered.

IHC is a community-owned system of nonprofit hospitals and clinics that provides medical care to residents of Utah and Idaho.

The study is published in the February issue of Modern Healthcare magazine.
