(KSL News) A man has been arrested for the kidnapping and abduction of two women and one man.

Officers and members of the SWAT team staked out a house at 610 S. 1300 West for more than two hours last night after receiving a call a woman was held inside against her will.

The woman is a 22-year-old from Price. Her mother called police, worried about her whereabout because she hadn't heard from her since the end of October.

After a little coaxing, she came out and told police she was being held against her will.

Apparently she was involved in a relationship with the suspect, 25-year old Jose Martinez.

He, along with two other men and a woman, surrendered to police. They booked Martinez into jail on kidnapping/abduction and drug charges.

Det. Dwayne Baird/ Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "Both of them are out of the house and in the safe custody of our officers. At this point we're questioning the male subjects that were with them to determine what had gone on here for the last couple of days, and exactly what violations there were."
