(KSL News) - Federal teams are investigating a -mysterious fire in Kearns, near 3380 W. 5650 South.
Salt Lake County firefighters said a man was severly burned in one, possibly two, basement fires at his home this afternoon.
Firefighters didn't even know about the fires, until the man showed up at a hospital with second and third degree burns.
He's in critical condition.
Firefighters and hazmat crews spent the evening searching the home. No word on what they found, but they've turned it over to the Drug Enforcement Agency.
