(Cedar City-AP) -- A Cedar City man who allegedly tried to rob his neighbor apparently should've worked on his escape plan.

That's because before he could leave, he passed out drunk in the victim's house.

The elderly victim told police that 21-year old Brandon Faye Price knocked on his door just after eight p-m Wednesday and after they were talking a few minutes, he pulled out a whiskey bottle, then demanded money.

When the victim refused, he says Price started acting crazy.

Police say the intoxicated Price hit and kicked the victim who tried to ward him off with his cane. But eventually Price just passed out in the victim's living room and the victim called police.

Both of them were taken to the hospital and treated.

Price is charged with aggravated robbery.
