(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Travelers are facing some hefty delays today from Salt Lake City International Airport.
Airport officials are reporting flight delays of up to two hours because of the snow storm. Snow plows are out trying to clear the runways, but officials say the snow is "really bad". The runways are intermittently closed because of the snow.
The airlines are also delayed because of trying to de-ice the planes.
SkyWest and Delta are both reporting delays.
So far, more than six inches of snow has fallen in the Salt Lake Valley and it will continue to fall throughout the day.
