(Salt Lake City-AP) -- You won't see them, but they're there.

More armed marshals will be on international flights out of Salt Lake City International Airport.

The director of the federal Transportation Security Administration in Salt Lake City says the marshals will be on both domestic and international flights and says there are already a lot of them on the flights.

Salt Lake City is not one of the 10 cities singled out for increased security, but will take the precautions anyway.

Salt Lake's only foreign-based carrier is AeroMexico, which flies to Mexico City.

And SkyWest Airlines flies to Canada from Salt Lake City.

The move is in response to tightened security to prevent terrorists from targeting international flights.
