Nadine Wimmer ReportingOne New Year's resolution tops the list more than any other--losing weight, getting in shape. A Utah mother set a goal to get in competition shape. But more than her biceps set her apart from other body builders.

After having her last baby, Marianne Kosier decided to get serious about fitness so she joined a gym.

Marianne Kosier, Muscle Mom: “It became such a lifestyle for me, such a passion for me and as I started to see the results and started to see the changes. It made me want to come even more."

She's worked up to more than 700 pounds on the leg press. That's eight plates on each side. And that's not the only eight to her credit; Marianne has eight children.

Rick Plenert, Trainer: “When I lean over to somebody in the seat next to me and say, ‘That lady up on stage has had eight kids,’ it’s laughable. Nobody believes it.”

Her fitness has become a family affair. Older kids help watch younger ones during daily workouts and they've all gotten used to the strict diet.

Lacy Kosier, Marianne's Daughter:”I think all my sisters can vouch for the fact that we'll never forget the smell of chicken breasts and black beans that we smelled five times a day in the kitchen."

But as a mom she still finds a way to integrate mac and cheese and PTA meetings into her regimen. She benefits from their support, and they from her example.

Lindsay Kosier: “She can do anything. She set a goal and accomplished it. Yea, you can set goals and achieve them."

Lauren Kosier, Marianne's Daughter: “I get compliments on it too, because I guess my mom's really cool that way. It's good towards me and her."

Marianne: "It just helps me cope with life and I'm just such a better mom, I really am."

She hopes to inspire other women -- muscles and motherhood work together.
