(KSL News) -- Authorities in Grand County are investigating the bizarre circumstances surrounding the death of a 2 1/2 year old girl.
At about ten this morning --- a motorist who had pulled to the side of I-70 near Thompson Springs, was approached by a Salt Lake City woman who appeared to have several self-inflicted wounds.
The driver called the sheriff's office. Deputies found a toddler dead inside the woman's car.
The 28 year old woman was taken to a Price hospital for her injuries.
The child was taken to the medical examiner's office to find out how she died.
