Two Utah Men Arrested in Reno on Drug Charges

(Reno, NV-AP) -- Two Ogden men are in a Nevada jail on charges of drug trafficking.

Nevada state troopers apparently found a pound of cocaine worth about 55-thousand dollars underneath their car after they were pulled over on Interstate-80 in Reno.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Rob Stepien says the drugs were found hidden on top of a gas tank beneath the car.

27-year old Jose Lizarraga and 35-year-old Jorge Benitez were booked on suspicion of trafficking, possession and possession with intent to sell cocaine and unlawful possession of narcotics.

Both are being held in the Washoe County Jail on 80-thousand dollars bail.
