(KSL News) -- The prosecution rested its case today in the capital murder trial of Cody Nielsen.

The 31-year old Cache County man is accused of kidnapping 15-year old Trisha Autry from her Hyrum home in June 2000.

Over three days, the prosecutor showed the jury evidence to support his theory that Neilsen stalked Autry, killed her, dismembered her body and buried the remains at a remote wildlife research facility in Millford.

The defense begins Tuesday, and Nielsen's lawyer says the accused killer is likely to take the stand.
