(KSL News)--The Utah Association of Secondary School Principals today named its principals of the year and awarded each recipient with a plaque.
This year's High School Principal of the Year award went to Glen Clark, of American Fork High School. Clark today said education in Utah is excellent, but that there is always room for improvement.
Glen R. Clark, Principal of American Fork High School: "We always have need for more funding to be able to reduce class loads, to increase class offerings for students, to open more doors, create more opportunity for more students to be successful."
The Assistant Principal of the Year Award went to Brad Christensen at Hurricane Middle School.
And Daniel Johnson of Mount Logan Middle School, received the honor of Middle School Principal of the Year.
