(KSL News) -- A determined woman was reunited with her stolen SUV today after chasing down the man who stole it.
Police say the woman was driving on the freeway when she noticed the man driving next to her was in her stolen car. She began following him and called police for back-up.
The suspect noticed the woman following him and pulled off the freeway. She followed. When officers arrived a high speed chase began, but was called off as the suspect approached downtown Salt Lake City.
He was later picked up inside a McDonalds and was arrested and charged for possession of a stolen car and fleeing from police.
He's also a suspect in an armed robbery in Salt Lake last week.
