(KSL News) It was an emotional reunion Friday night at the Salt Lake City International Airport.

About 40 Utah Army Reservists returned home from serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The soldiers are from the 438th Military Police Detachment. They were mobilized last February and stationed in Kuwait and Qatar.

During their mobilization, the soldiers provided law and order duties. They also provided personal security service to visiting dignitaries, entertainers and medical evacuation soldiers.
