RED MESA, Ariz. (AP) -- A school bus was involved in a crash Tuesday with a car and a pickup truck on the northern part of the Navajo Reservation, authorities said. One person was killed and several people injured.

Few details were immediately available on the crash, said Steve Volden, a Department of Public Safety spokesman.

Volden said the dead person had been in either the car or the pickup.

Several people on the school bus suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Volden said.

He said there were about 25 people on the bus, but he didn't know how old the bus riders were.
