(KSL News) -- An avalanche has forced authorities to close American Fork Canyon.
The avalanche came down this afternoon about a mile-and-a-half up the canyon. No one was injured.
The road up American Fork Canyon is closed, and as a precaution, cabin owners in the Tibble Fork area are being asked to evacuate the area.
