(KSL News) -- Arguments begin this afternoon in the case of a man accused of running over a family in Magna.

Tory Lee Jacques is charged with felony automobile homicide and driving under the influence in the death of six-year-old Darius Smith.

The boy and two of his siblings were walking with their dad to McDonalds when Jacks allegedly plowed into them.

The other two children survived.

Trial Set to Begin for Man Accused of Running Down Family

Jacques could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
