(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The SCO Group is answering the "Mydoom" virus with another Web site.
The computer virus that targeted SCO Group brought down the suburban Salt Lake City company's Web site www.sco.com shortly after midnight Sunday.
The company says customers, resellers, developers, shareholders and other Web site visitors can now access their site at www.thescogroup.com.
The virus called MyDoom was spread by e-mail and caused infected computers to launch the electronic attack.
SCO spokesman Blake Stowell says hundreds of thousands of computers all are trying to access the site at the same time, several times a minute.
Based on messages left inside the hacker's code, the attack is programmed to continue on the Web site until February 12th.
