(KSL News) -- A chilly tradition took place in Stansbury Park in Tooele County, the polar bear swim.

Some brave people jumped into small very cold pond today -- 32 and a half degrees!

These folks started this Super Bowl tradition five years ago on a dare and now it's just a must-do event, and more and more people come out to do it, though, some chicken out at the last minute.

It could've been worse, it was in the 40's today. A couple weeks ago, it was in the teens and 20's.
