(KSL News) -- There's a great service in the state of Utah that many people don't know anything about. Starting today, you'll be seeing the 2-1-1 number everywhere.
By dialing 2-1-1 you'll be connected with people who can help you with where to go to either get food, shelter or health services. They put you in contact with the goverment agencies that can help.
It doesn't cost anything to dial 2-1-1 on your phone. Operators are standing by daily between the hours of 8:30 am and 6:00 pm.
