CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) -- Authorities released the names of two Utah men who were found traveling with eight pipe bombs.

Chancey Reynolds, 21, who also uses the name Dennis Thompson, provided a Bluffdale, Utah, address, and Troy K. Howard, 32, cited a Riverton, Utah, address, according to Laramie County jail booking sheets released Thursday.

Both are being held on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a deadly weapon. Howard also is charged with driving with a suspended license.

Federal charges are expected to be filed because of the pipe bombs, federal investigators have said.

Howard was driving the rented Dodge Durango that a state trooper pulled over Monday afternoon on Interstate 80 for failing to maintain a single lane, according to the booking sheets.

Both men are members of white supremacists groups, according to federal investigators.
