(Salt Lake City-AP) -- A man is in critical condition after an accident at a Salt Lake City plumbing company.
It happened yesterday at the Peterson Plumbing Supply company. Police say a worker was unloading heavy pipe when the system that lowers the bed of the truck to unload it apparently got stuck.
Police say the man crawled inside the bed to fix the system, and that's when it engaged and lowered, pinning him between the truck's bed and a tire.
The man freed himself and went to the company's office to report what happened. That's when trauma and shock set in.
He was transported to the hospital with internal injuries. His identity has not been released.
