(Cedar City-AP) -- The community of Cedar City is coming together to help the family of a little girl who died in a tragic accident two weeks ago.
Seven-year-old Allison Sousa was killed after her coat got caught in a car door and she was dragged for three miles.
Since then, residents have donated more than 32-thousand dollars to a trust fund in Allison's name.
The Iron County School District Foundation helped raise the funds.
Most of the money will go to fulfill the family's immediate needs and expenses. But six-thousand dollars of it will go toward playground equipment that will be donated to one of the city parks where a memorial will be erected in honor of the little girl.
