(KSL News) -- Watch out lead-footed drivers! Speeding in Utah is about to get more expensive.
The Deseret Morning News reports this morning that speeding tickets will soon cost at least 32 dollars more.
The pricier punishment is expected to bring in an extra nine million dollars a year.
That money will beef up security at justice and juvenile courts.
It will also reimburse counties for housing inmates who violate city ordinances in county jails.
And, a warning for other driving laws... Tickets for rolling through a stop sign, failing to signal for a lane change and driving too slow in the fast lane will also increase.
