(KSL News) -- A convicted murderer was sent to prison this morning, despite claims he's innocent.
Robert Hatch was sentenced up to life in prison for killing his estranged wife in a domestic violence case.
Sharee (SHA-REE, not Sherry) Hatch was shot to death with a shotgun inside her home in Spanish Fork in July 2002.
Robert Hatch claims she was killed by her live-in boyfriend and he plans to appeal.
