(KSL News) -- An 85-year old Taylorsville man says the shots he fired were a cry for help.
Last night, neighbors reported Charlie Wilson was firing shots from the back porch of his home at 4960 S. 3954 West.
The SWAT team surrounded his house and evacuated 35 neighbors.
Wilson says he was bleeding from a recent medical procedure was signalling neighbors he was in trouble. He tried flashing a light first, but no one came.
He was hospitilized, then taken into custody, but has been released from both.
