(KSL News) -- Police have identified the man who died yesterday, after a TRAX train hit him.

Police say it appears 22-year-old Sean Edward Oborn Jr., of Sandy, intentionally stepped in front of the train.

The train was going about 45 miles-an-hour when it hit Oborn.

He was air lifted to the hospital in critical condition, but died later during surgery.
