(KSL News) -- Police arrest a man in West Jordan after allegedly hitting a two-year-old girl.
Phillip Davis says he accidentally hit the girl in the nose, during a fight with her mother in the car.
He then jumped out of the moving car and ran away.
Police caught him a short time later with the help of a K-9 unit.
Davis was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, then released and booked into jail.
He faces charges of domestic assault.
