TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Federal environmental regulators served a search warrant Tuesday at Sinclair Oil Corp.'s Tulsa refinery, officials said.
Environmental Protection Agency spokesman Dave Bary said he could not comment other than to confirm that the warrant was served Tuesday morning.
Salt Lake City-based Sinclair said no one was immediately available for comment.
Tulsa police officers accompanied EPA agents at the refinery, which sits across the Arkansas River from downtown Tulsa, officer Scott Walton said. Walton referred questions to the EPA.
Sinclair has operated the 60,000-barrel-per-day refinery since 1983. It produces high-octane gasoline.
