(KSL News) Two men are behind bars after firing gun shots in Salt Lake City.
The men were driving at the time and police say they were drunk.
Police say the men had just gotten off the freeway near 900 West when the driver started firing gun shots. An officer in the area pulled the men over.
Sanjin Maglic and Anel Zenkic, both 23 years old, were arrested.
Lt. Rusty Isakson, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "We did find the weapon that was stolen. Both the arrested persons are not saying that much, just that they were coming home from a bar, had some alcohol, and just fired rounds in the air."
Zenic was actually put in leg irons because he tried to kick out the window of a patrol car.
Other than driving under the influence, both men could face additional charges because they tried to get rid of the gun when the officer pulled them over.
