(KSL News) -- A man already serving time for severely beating an 11-year-old girl is also guilty of rape and sodomy in another case.
A jury convicted Javier Sickler yesterday of attacking a 31-year-old woman as she walking home from a Midvale restaurant in August of 2002.
The attack happened just two weeks before he tried to rape the 11-year-old girl, then beat her face with a hammer when she resisted.
