(Salt Lake City-AP) -- A sentencing hearing is scheduled for today for the man convicted of killing his three-month-old daughter.
Redd Rock Serawop was convicted of voluntary manslaughter last December in the death of Beyonce Serawop.
Serawop initially told authorities he wasn't in the room when the baby was injured in November 2002. He later confessed to throwing Beyonce Serawop down. The girl hit her head on a sink or toilet and died as a result of serious head injuries.
Serawop's sentencing was rescheduled for today to give the defense more time. He faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
