(KSL News) -- A violent beating in Taylorsville landed four people in jail and one man in the hospital.

Police say Richard Montano-Toledro went to his ex-girlfriend's apartment last night to visit their child. He started fighting with his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend and eventually left.
Montano-Toledro came back with Ryan Agar, Joshua Fitch and Buddy Trujillo. The four are accused of severely beating the new boyfriend with a metal baseball bat.
They were all arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.
The victim was rushed to the hospital. He is now in stable condition.
