(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Four Salt Lake City police officers have been cleared in the shooting death of a man during a standoff last November.
The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office will not charge the officers in the November seventh shooting of Juan Ruiz Cortez.
Police say officers were called to a domestic dispute and found Cortez in a car armed with two handguns.
Police say the officers negotiated with Cortez for about 40 minutes, but when he removed the safety from one of the guns and pointed it at the officers they opened fire.
