(KSL News) More soldiers from the 1457th Engineer Battalion are returning home this weekend.
Close to 180 members of the battalion will fly into Salt Lake International Airport Sunday. They've been away from home for more than one year.
Twelve members of the group came back April 22nd because they had already served the maximum two years of active duty.
The 400-member battalion, which was mobilized last February, was notified last week they were removed from the extended duty list.
