(KSL News) -- Authorities in Utah's Grand County are investigating the murder of a tourist in Southeastern Utah.

They say 58-year old Walter Pratt of South Dakota was driving off Utah 128, about 21 miles from Moab yesterday morning.

They believe Graham Austin of Colorado flagged Pratt down, stabbed him several times, and took off in Pratt's truck.

They later spotted the truck, chased Austin on foot, and caught him.

No word yet on the motive, but investigators are trying to find out if Austin and Pratt had a prior connection.
