(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Governor Olene Walker won't be endorsing either one of the remaining Republican candidates for governor in the June primary.
Walker placed fourth in the State Republican Convention on Saturday in her bid to continue as governor.
The remaining candidates are Jon Huntsman, Junior and Nolan Karras. But Walker says she won't endorse either one of them. She says as governor she has an obligation to "stay out of it".
Though she was disappointed by the outcome of the convention, she says she had hoped her supporters would put Karras second on their ballots Saturday.
She says no matter which one makes it out of the primary, the Republican candidate has a tough race ahead against Democratic challenger Scott Matheson, Junior.
